Looking For The SevenUps

As much as I remember Seward Park High School near Broom Street. I can't never forget growing up with the group I call the SevenUps (7UPS), PAPO SANCHEZ, ACHIE MAGRAUER, RICKY PEACO, FELIX VICENTE, FRANK FAZIO AND MY COUSIN REGGIE. ALSO A DEAR FRIEND "OLGA CANALES".
The area we grew up in was on 3rd st, 4th st, Village View Projects adjacent from P.S. 63. Basketball, softball, Football, Stickball, parties, movies were among our activities.
But one fountain shop that I will never forget is Leo's who can always put together a EggCream soda, THE BEST. There were other places, like The Red Lantern Restaurant which served the best Cheeseberger Deluxe, Hy & Lil's Cafe Shop serving the best Spaghetti & Meatballs lunch special, and Knishes (The most famous square potatoes dish.
