In the 1970s and 1980s, Bill was an anchor on several news programs on Channel 5 in NYC: “Black News”, “The 10 O’Clock News” and his own “McCreary Report”. For his achievements in news broadcasting, he has won numerous awards including two Emmys. He can now be seen on the news program “Special Edition”.
